The Museum attempts to portray the narrative before, during, and after the Great Famine, and it talks about the families who lived and died within the Famine Workhouse walls. The Museum explains the socioeconomic conditions that led to the formation of this and other Workhouses through guided and self-directed tours, as well as numerous exhibits.
